Centre for IMGs

About the Centre for International Medical Graduates (IMGs)

OUR FOCUS IS ON YOUR SUCCESS

Our courses support your transition to the UK, plug your knowledge and practice gaps, and help you to succeed.

The Centre for IMGs is a medical education company that curates generic and bespoke online courses and coaching for doctors and medical students, to aid their professional development.

We deliver our courses through expert medical educators with experience of undergraduate and postgraduate education in the UK and beyond.

As well as providing courses for individual IMGs, we work with NHS Trusts to help them incorporate support courses into their onboarding and induction processes.

We also co-produce bespoke courses with NHS Trusts, Postgraduate Deaneries and recruitment companies to meet their specific needs.

Our Mission

We exist to support international medical graduates who come to live and work in the UK.

We help to make the transition a well supported experience.

We do this through our courses, and by working with NHS Trusts as they recruit and support medical graduates from overseas.

Get support from people who understand

Our tutors fully understand the challenges that IMGs face as they transition to living and working in the UK.

Plug your knowledge and practice gaps

Our courses focus on professional practice induction, as well as language and communication skills, that bring you up to speed on how particular areas of the medical profession function in the UK.

Achieve success

Our feedback shows that IMGs who have been on our courses feel more confident and perform at a higher level in their professional practice.
