ST4 Paediatric Trainee

Oluseun is an experienced paediatrician with ten years of cumulative experience across two continents.

Following his undergraduate medical training (MBChB Olabisi Onabanjo University, 2011) and completion of the first part of the West African Postgraduate Paediatric Training programme (MWACP), he relocated to the UK under the auspice of the Medical Training Initiative (MTI) programme. At this time, he worked as a paediatric emergency medicine registrar for about three years in one of the NHS hospitals. He is currently an ST4 paediatric trainee in the East of England, having joined the RCPCH run-through training programme.

Oluseun is a member of the Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health (MRCPCH). He is a Paediatric Educator for undergraduate medical students under the Paediatric Undergraduate Regional Educator (PURE) program, a joint project led by the Cambridge University Department of Paediatrics and Health Education East of England School of Paediatrics in collaboration with Anglia Ruskin University and the University of East Anglia. He is a Newborn Life Support and European Paediatric Advanced Life Support Provider. He has experience safeguarding children and conducting clinical audits. He has co-authored articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Oluseun is married to the love of his life, Tejiri, a business analyst, and he is the father of three wonderful daughters.
