Vicki is a Paediatric Emergency Medicine registrar at Birmingham Children’s hospital. She is very close to completing her training and becoming a consultant in PEM.
Interests are trauma, minor injuries, and critically unwell children. Vicki had a passion for education, especially in the busy environment that is A & E, and sees this as an excellent environment to
educate not only medical and nursing colleagues but also children, young people, parents and families.
Vicki is part of the international paediatric medical education team. Don’t forget the Bubbles. As well as authoring articles, she is the lead Editor for the Bubble wrap section that reviews 5 new articles in paediatric literature monthly. Vicki supports colleagues internationally to write reviews.
She also is a passionate instructor on Advanced Paediatric Life Support and European Trauma Course.
When not at work, Vicki is happiest spending time outside with her husband and cocker spaniel, Scramble, or chatting with friends.
