Kene is a Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. He received his primary medical degree in Nigeria and postgraduate paediatric training in Nigeria, Ireland, and England. His Paediatric Emergency Medicine subspecialty training was in the West Midlands, England.
He has a master’s degree in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and has completed a postgraduate diploma programme in allergy. Interests are allergy (burden of acute allergic conditions), cost improvement, and medical education. He is very passionate about cultural intelligence and health equity in the care of
children and families.
Kene believes that “no matter who you are or where you come from, you can choose to be what you want to be.”
When not working, Kene can be found in cinemas or taking long walks.
