Dolapo is a consultant in older adults’ psychiatry and has worked in the NHS for over 14 years. She currently works in the Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. She has a passion for medical education in which she has taken on a variety of roles, including being involved in postgraduate supervision of both core and higher trainees. As an international medical graduate herself, she is keen to see IMGs have a smooth transition and support them in growing their careers in the UK healthcare system. She, therefore provides clinical and educational supervision for GMC fellows/IMGs.
Dolapo also works actively in undergraduate education; interviewing applicants to Leicester Medical School, teaching sessions with medical students as well as working as a Pastoral support advisor for Leicester Medical School.
